Description and action: The hydrosol is obtained during the distillation of sandalwood for the purpose of extracting the precious essential oil.

Sandalwood hydrosol is intended for skin cleansing, especially for the care of skin prone to acne and eczema. The beneficial active compounds of sandalwood promote skin renewal and strengthen skin functions.

It has a mild antiseptic effect, tightens pores, has detoxifying properties, improves skin texture, and is suitable for teenage skin care. Use it also as a scalp tonic—it helps with dandruff.

Sandalwood hydrosol can be used as a facial toner, effectively removes makeup and impurities, and is suitable for moisturizing the skin before applying cream.

Uses of hydrosols: as an addition to baths, they can be used to make excellent masks with Argiletz cosmetic clay (green, white, red, pink, yellow), where they are used instead of water or tea, for moisturizing the face before applying creams, as a toner that revitalizes, refreshes, and renews the facial skin, they can be spritzed instead of perfume, they can be used instead of room fresheners, for scenting bed linen, for aromatherapy instead of or in combination with essential oils,…

Facial cleansing: Moisten a cotton pad with the hydrosol and cleanse the facial skin with circular movements, repeating if necessary. Toner/facial spray: Spray onto cleansed facial skin before applying moisturizing cream. Take care not to get it in the eyes. Repeat several times a day as needed for refreshment. Face mask: Mix with Argiletz clay and apply to cleansed face. Leave on for 10 – 15 minutes, rinse with water, moisturize the skin with the hydrosol, and apply a moisturizing cream or vegetable oil. Bath: Pour some hydrosol into a bathtub filled with water and enjoy its beneficial effects. Hair care: Spray onto freshly washed hair and massage into the scalp. Rinsing is not necessary. Storage: Store hydrosols in a dark, cool place, ideally in the refrigerator, as this effectively inhibits bacterial growth that might otherwise develop over time. After opening, use the hydrosol within six months.

In the case of ordering a hydrosol in a bottle with a spray pump, the pump is enclosed separately. If it were already fitted during transport, leakage could occur. This way we ensure you receive the product without any loss and in perfect condition.
