Rosemary hydrosol

Origin: Italy

Description and effects: Obtained by steam distillation of rosemary leaves and flowers. It has an excellent astringent effect, which is reflected in the tightening of pores on the skin, and it also acts as a stimulant and refreshes the skin and scalp. It also eliminates minor skin discolouration (blemishes) and tones the skin, and is primarily suitable for oily to normal skin as it helps with acne-prone skin. The essential oil of rosemary contained in the hydrosol helps stimulate blood flow to the skin surface. It is very frequently used to stimulate the scalp through massage, as it improves circulation while also ensuring hair shine. By massaging the hydrosol into the scalp, we stimulate the growth of healthy hair and prevent dandruff.

Rosemary hydrosol is a powerful antioxidant, regenerates the skin and restores its elasticity. It is used to moisten compresses for nerve and muscle pain and rheumatic complaints. With regular use it alleviates nervous and physical exhaustion.

The hydrosol can be used without restrictions.

Uses of hydrosols: as an addition to baths, they can be used to make excellent masks with cosmetic clay (green, white, red, pink, yellow), where they are used instead of water or tea, for moisturising the face before applying creams, as a tonic that revitalises, refreshes and restores the facial skin, they can be spritzed on instead of perfume, they can be used instead of air fresheners, for scenting bed linen, for aromatherapy instead of or in combination with essential oils,…

Instructions for use: Shake before use. Facial cleansing: Moisten a cotton pad with the hydrosol and cleanse the facial skin with circular movements, repeat as needed. Tonic/facial mist: Face mask: Mix with clay and apply to the cleansed face. Leave on for 10 – 15 minutes, rinse with water, moisten the skin with the hydrosol and apply a moisturising cream or vegetable oil. Bath: Pour some hydrosol into a tub filled with water and enjoy its beneficial effects. Hair care: Spray onto freshly washed hair and massage into the scalp. No rinsing required. Spray onto cleansed facial skin before applying moisturising cream. Take care to avoid contact with eyes. Repeat several times a day as needed for refreshment.

Storage: Store hydrosols in a dark, cool place, ideally in the refrigerator, as this effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria that might develop over time. After opening, use the hydrosol within six months.

When ordering a hydrosol in a bottle with a spray pump, the pump is included separately. If it were attached during transport, leakage of liquid could occur. In this way we ensure that you receive the product without any losses and in perfect condition.
