Tetra C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate)

Tetra C (Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) is a lipophilic, i.e. fat-soluble form of vitamin C with excellent
performance.

Compared to vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid, Tetra C is very stable, does not irritate the skin and effectively penetrates the skin. The challenge with ascorbic acid is that it is a very unstable form, meaning it oxidises extremely quickly and thereby loses its activity, while also requiring a very low pH, which causes irritation to the skin. By using Tetra C, all these problems are avoided.

Tetra C is effective in anti-ageing care, as it renews the skin, acts as a powerful antioxidant and promotes collagen synthesis. It brightens hyperpigmentation and provides protection against UV skin damage while helping to repair it. It also improves the condition of acne-prone skin.
