Syn-coll tripeptide
Syn-Coll is a patented synthetic peptide that stimulates the mechanisms in the skin which accelerate collagen production and inhibit its degradation. Clinical studies have shown that it reduces fine lines and wrinkles and is therefore used in numerous anti-age products. It acts on the skin in two ways that work synergistically, thus maintaining the complete structural integrity of the skin:
- Increases collagen production by mimicking the body's own mechanism for activating
latent transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β = tissue growth factor), a key
element in collagen synthesis.
- Protects collagen from degradation by inhibiting matrix metalloproteinases (MMP).
With regular use it stimulates collagen production and reduces the appearance of wrinkles; at higher concentrations it also maintains skin elasticity, acts against sagging, and increases skin moisture. It reduces the visible effects of photoaging, minimizes pores, smooths the skin, and improves its texture. The active ingredient has been clinically proven to be safe and effective.

Syn-Coll (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5): 2.00 %

Target pH: 5.2–5.8 (ideally ~5.5)
Preparation procedure:
1️. Preparation of the water phase
-
First mix the xanthan gum into the glycerin (to prevent clumping).

Add the distilled water or hydrolat and stir.

Add the hyaluronic acid (slowly, leave it, do not stir, let it hydrate completely).
2️. Oil phase
-
In a separate container combine the argan oil, squalane, and Olivem 1000.
3️. Emulsification

Heat both phases to 70–75 °C.

Pour the oil phase into the water phase and stir vigorously (a hand mixer can also be used).

Stir until a homogeneous emulsion forms. Approx. 3 minutes.
4️. Cold phase (below 40 °C)
- First mix the hyaluronic acid into the glycerin.

Add Syn-Coll, niacinamide, and the preservative.

Mix well.
5️. pH control
-
Measure the pH and adjust it to ~5.5.
Pour into appropriately sanitized packaging. We recommend glass packaging with a dropper or a lotion/oil dispenser pump.
