Safflower oil BIO

The oil is obtained from the seeds of the flowering plant safflower (Carthamus tinctorius). It is golden yellow in color and has a mild, pleasant scent somewhat reminiscent of peanuts.

Composition and properties of safflower oil
Safflower oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, primarily linoleic acid, which accounts for as much as 70–80% of its composition. It also contains oleic acid, vitamin E, phytosterols, and other antioxidants. This composition allows the oil to act as a powerful moisturizer and antioxidant, which is key for skin and hair care.

It is a non-comedogenic oil, meaning it does not clog pores. It belongs to the category of unstable oils. It is established as one of the top choices for oily, inflamed, and acne-prone skin with blackheads.
