Refined macadamia oil (INCI: Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil)

Product Description

Skin: Macadamia oil is said to be the olive oil of the new era. It is packed with antioxidants, vitamins A, B and E, and minerals calcium, magnesium and potassium, making it excellent at protecting all skin types from everyday challenges. It also has anti-inflammatory effects on sensitive skin. It nourishes the skin, increases its suppleness and elasticity, which is very welcome during pregnancy.

Hair: The composition of macadamia oil is extremely similar to the sebum produced by our skin, which is why macadamia is absorbed very quickly by the skin, and equally quickly by the scalp and hair. In this way the oil increases the strength of the hair from follicle to tip; it is ideal for moisturising and strengthening coarse, limp and dull hair. Over the years, the body produces increasingly less palmitic acid, which softens and conditions our hair. Macadamia oil helps restore ideal levels that allow hair to be healthy, hydrated and shiny once again.

The oil has a very long shelf life and, due to its high antioxidant content, is not prone to rancidity.
