Chia seed oil - virgin

Cold-pressed, virgin oil from Chia seeds contains as much as 64% omega-3 and 21% omega-6 fatty acids. It has a pleasant nutty aroma.

The golden-yellow Chia oil is obtained from freshly harvested seeds of the Chia plant (Salvia hispanica) by cold pressing. It is similar to linseed oil, but unlike linseed oil, Chia oil is distinguished by its high content of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids as well as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It is also a good source of alpha-lipoic acid, which is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Uses of Chia oil: it is particularly beneficial for mature, dry and sensitive skin, and is suitable for face, body and hair care. Powerful antioxidants protect against premature ageing and promote cell regeneration. It contributes to increased skin hydration, prevents moisture loss and helps restore the protective barrier even in the driest skin. It soothes skin when it is inflamed, reduces the appearance of irritation, redness and acne. With regular use it helps achieve a healthy, radiant complexion. It is also very suitable for hair care, providing extra shine, moisture, detangling and protection against harmful environmental influences on your hair and scalp.

Facial care: Apply a small amount of oil to cleansed facial skin that has previously been moistened with a toner or hydrosol.
Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to still-damp skin and massage in well. For massage, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the carrier oil.
Hair care: Before styling, rub a few drops into the hair and comb through, paying particular attention to the ends.
