Refined organic coconut oil (INCI: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil)

Product Description

Coconut oil keeps the skin smooth, soft and intensely moisturised. It is also rich in vitamins A, B and E, which protect the skin against free radicals that cause premature ageing, wrinkles and blemishes. Coconut oil also rejuvenates the skin by removing the outer layer of dead cells, leaving it smoother. As it absorbs deeply into the skin, it strengthens and heals it from within, and is exceptionally effective at soothing the after-effects of excessive sun exposure.

In its natural state the oil is snow-white in colour, as it is solid. It becomes liquid at 24°C. It has a characteristic, barely perceptible coconut scent and is stable in air. Due to its high content of saturated fatty acids it stays fresh for longer and consequently extends the shelf life of products it is incorporated into, such as body butters, creams and soaps. Its shelf life can be further extended by storing it in the refrigerator, as is the case with all oils and butters in our range.

The oil is refined and packaged in plastic jars, bottles or buckets.
