100% refined coconut oil (INCI: Cocos Nucifera)

Product Description

Coconut oil keeps the skin smooth, soft, and intensely moisturized. It is also rich in vitamins A, B, and E, which protect the skin from free radical formation that causes premature aging, wrinkles, and blemishes. Coconut oil also rejuvenates the skin by removing the outer layer of dead cells and smoothing it. As it absorbs deeply into the skin, it strengthens and heals it from within, and is also exceptionally effective at relieving the effects of excessive sun exposure.

In its basic form the oil is snow-white in color, as it is in solid form. It becomes liquid at 24°C. It has a characteristic, barely perceptible coconut scent and is stable in air. Due to its high content of saturated fatty acids, it stays fresh for a longer time and consequently also extends the shelf life of products it is added to, such as body butters, creams, and soaps. Its shelf life is further extended by storing it in the refrigerator, as is the case with all the oils and butters in our range.
