JuvenEye CLR ™

JuvenEye CLR™ is an effective cosmetic ingredient that reduces the appearance of dark circles around the eyes, puffiness, and the appearance of skin melanin spots. It works by brightening, revitalising, and regenerating the skin.

JuvenEye CLR™ is based on a synergistic combination of extracts from Hieracium pilosella (mouse-ear hawkweed) and Bellis perennis flowers (common daisy). It targets the most important dermatological processes involved in the formation and persistence of dark circles under the eyes. The extracts stimulate the production of the enzyme heme oxygenase, which is known to break down the prosthetic heme group that gives the notorious dark circles their darkened appearance. In this way, JuvenEye CLR™ visibly reduces established dark circles around the eyes, while also stimulating the production of the vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF-C, thereby promoting fluid drainage from the body (reducing puffiness).

The ingredient JuvenEye CLR™ thus activates cellular renewal, increases cellular functionality and elasticity, and visibly improves the appearance of the skin.

Action and effects

JuvenEye CLR™ targets signs of fatigue and ageing, particularly:
• Dark circles under the eyes
• Swelling and puffiness around the eyes
• Skin thinning and loss of tone
• Uneven skin tone
• With regular use, it helps improve microcirculation, reduces the appearance of dark circles and fatigue, and increases skin radiance and elasticity.

Recommended concentration: 2%–5%

In professional products: typically 3–5%

In home cosmetics: 5% for maximum effect, especially in products for the eye area.

STUDY: In vivo studies comparing JuvenEye CLR™ with a corresponding placebo formulation demonstrated that JuvenEye CLR™ reduces the visibility of dark circles around the eyes (both the colour and the surface area of the dark circles were significantly reduced).

As a preservative, JuvenEye CLR™ contains sodium benzoate and sodium dehydroacetate.
