We use it:
- for local pain and inflammation, as it promotes blood circulation and provides warmth;
- during flu season;
- for tight, sore, and tired muscles;
- to improve blood circulation and for a warming effect;
- to stimulate the immune system;
- for nausea and vomiting;
- for pain: headache, toothache, rheumatic pain,…
- to speed up digestion and relieve flatulence;
- to help with quitting smoking.

Special warnings: If oxidised, it may irritate the skin, so store it in a cool and dark place, well sealed.

Aromatherapy tip with recipe:
Blend for sore, tired, and tight muscles ("muscle rub")
25 ml St. John's wort macerate
25 ml calendula macerate
4 drops EO black pepper
4 drops EO rosemary
6 drops EO lavender
3 drops EO lemongrass
Preparation: Drop the essential oils into a dark 50 ml bottle and rub between your hands (mix well). Add the St. John's wort and calendula macerates, seal tightly, label, and store in a cool and dark place.
Use: Apply the blend to the affected area and massage in well. Use 1–3 times daily.
