Zinc ricinoleate

Zinc ricinoleate is an extremely effective ingredient that prevents unpleasant body odors. It is obtained from zinc and ricinoleic acid (present in castor oil). It works by chemically trapping the molecules produced during bacterial breakdown of sweat that cause unpleasant odor. It is not an antiperspirant, meaning it does not stop the natural sweating process. It also does not have antimicrobial action, so it does not harm the natural skin microflora. It is 100% naturally derived, biodegradable and permitted in certified natural cosmetics – Ecocert and COSMOS.

Contains no aluminum!

Recommended usage amount: 1.5–3%
Solubility: in oil
Melting point: approx. 70°C
