Used for:
- respiratory infections: encourages and breaks down mucus secretion from the throat and lungs, aids expectoration;
- for arthritis and rheumatism, painful and swollen joints;
- psychologically it provides support, grounds, and strengthens;
- in the creation of natural perfumes as a base note (more masculine scent).

Aromatherapy tip with recipe:
Blend for rheumatoid arthritis
15 ml calendula oil (macerate)
15 ml St. John's wort oil (macerate)
5 drops EO Himalayan cedar
4 drops EO rosemary
3 drops EO lavender
2 drops EO clove
3 drops EO German chamomile
Preparation: Drop the essential oils into a dark 30 ml bottle and rub between your palms (mix well). Add approx. 30 ml of calendula and St. John's wort macerate (plain olive oil may also be used), seal tightly, label, and store in a cool, dark place.
Use: Massage the required amount of the oil blend into the painful joints. Repeat several times daily.
