Product Description
Origin: Morocco
The oil is obtained by cold pressing the kernels of the fruit of the thorny argan tree. It is golden in colour, medium viscosity, and has a mild nutty scent. It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no greasy feeling.
Key active ingredients: Argan oil is very rich in tocopherols (Vitamin E), contains a high level of phenols and phenolic acids, carotenes, and squalene. It has a high content of essential fatty acids, with as much as 80% unsaturated. Oleic and linoleic acid predominate.
Use: Suitable for all skin types, but particularly beneficial for dry and sensitive skin. Thanks to its high vitamin E content, it helps our skin regenerate much more quickly. It protects it from harmful environmental influences and helps prevent premature ageing, as it is a powerful antioxidant. It softens the skin and retains moisture, strengthens tired and wrinkled skin and restores its youthful elasticity. It also strengthens nails and hair and helps ease the condition of burns, scars, or stretch marks. It also nourishes problem and oily skin, as it helps reduce sebum production, and has a beneficial effect on issues such as eczema and psoriasis.
Nail and cuticle care: Mix equal amounts of argan oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Soak your fingers in the freshly prepared mixture for 15 minutes. Carry out the treatment once a week.
Facial care: Apply a small amount of oil to cleansed facial skin that has been previously moistened with a toner or hydrolat.
Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to still-damp skin and massage in well. For massage, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the carrier oil.
Hair care: Massage a few drops of argan oil into the ends of freshly washed hair.
Shelf life: Argan oil remains fresh for 6 months to 1 year with proper storage (in a cool place, protected from direct light). We recommend storing the oil in the refrigerator.
