Abyssinian oil is an exceptionally light, non-greasy oil that absorbs quickly and has become a popular natural alternative to synthetic silicones and mineral oils. It is obtained from the seeds of the Crambe abyssinica plant, an annual from the mustard family (Brassicaceae), which grows primarily in the highland regions of eastern Africa. There, traditional communities have valued its beneficial effects on skin and hair for centuries.

Due to its unique molecular structure, not found in any other natural oil, Abyssinian oil offers exceptional advantages in both nourishing and protecting.

✔️ Exceptional fatty acid composition

- More than 60% erucic acid (C22:1 omega-9) – a long-chain omega-9 fatty acid that creates a protective network layer on hair and skin. Also contains linoleic (C18:2 omega-6) and oleic acid (C18:1 omega-9).
- These fatty acids do not penetrate deeply, but remain on the surface of the skin and hair, where they provide:

• protection against moisture loss,
• a smooth, nourished epidermis,
• long-lasting hair shine without a greasy feeling.

• Due to its stable structure, it does not oxidise quickly – ideal for summer skin care. Lower likelihood of degradation and formation of irritating compounds – does not cause sensitivity.

How to use it?

• Directly on damp or dry skin and hair – no rinsing required. As a scalp massage oil or hair mask before washing (wrap hair in a warm towel for 10 min).
• As an addition to creams, lotions, serums, and oil blends (up to 100%).
• In combination with argan, jojoba, or macadamia oil for an even richer treatment.

Ingredients:

• Abyssinian oil – 40% (20 g)
• Isopropyl myristate – 25% (12.5 g)
• Cetiol OE (Dicaprylyl Ether) – 20% (10 g)
• Vitamin E (Tocopherol) – 0.5% (0.25 g)
• Ylang-ylang essential oil (optional) – 0.5% (0.25 g)
• Natural fragrance (optional) – 1% (0.5 g)
• Natisol (for solubilisation) – 5% (2.5 g)

Total: 100% (50 g)
