Purple clay is an ideal combination of kaolin and magnesium. It is rich in silicon dioxide and has a low concentration of mineral salts. Purple clay is less absorbent than green clay, so it is generally not used for cleansing oily skin. However, it can be used as an excellent aid for stimulating skin circulation, acts as a gentle exfoliant, thoroughly cleanses, revitalises and nourishes sensitive skin, while also assisting in detoxification and skin regeneration. Purple clay is an excellent choice for making masks for sensitive, dry, and tired skin.
