Sodium Phytate PA-3

Sodium phytate is a natural chelating agent—a chelator (“scavenger” of metal ions, which are undesirable in cosmetic products as they affect product stability). It serves as a natural alternative to EDTA (which is not desirable in natural cosmetics). It works synergistically in combination with cosmetic antioxidants. The partially neutralized material has a pH of around 3; for easier and optimal use, the raw material is diluted into liquid form.
