Clove buds - BIO essential oil

Extraction method: steam distillation of flower buds

We use it:

- for all cold and painful conditions, as it warms and acts as a pain reliever;

- for toothache (directly on the tooth only!);

- for digestive problems: intestinal infections, parasites, promotes digestion and appetite,…

- for chronic inflammations, rheumatism and arthritis;

- for colds and flu.

Methods of use: in ointments, massage oils, creams and lotions,…

Special warnings: May irritate skin and mucous membranes. May inhibit blood clotting. Do not use in baths, diffusers or inhalations. Do not use on damaged skin or in cases of kidney disease. Do not use on infants and children under 2 years of age, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use at a concentration of max. 0.5% and for a short period of time.

Aromatherapy tip with recipe:

Pain-relieving warming oil

30 ml base oil or macerate

1 drop EO clove

2 drops EO cardamom

1 drop EO ginger

2 drops EO frankincense boswellia

Preparation: Drop the essential oils into a dark 30 ml bottle and rub between your palms (mix well). Top up with base oil (e.g. jojoba, almond) or macerate (e.g. St. John’s wort, calendula), close tightly, label and store in a dark, cool place.

Use: Apply the blend to the painful area 3x daily and massage in.
