We use it:
- in natural repellents (one of the most effective EOs for this purpose!);
- for fungal infections;
- for injuries: muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones;
- for fever and inflammations, as it cools;
- for air disinfection, as it has antibacterial properties;
- for digestive problems: flatulence, cramps, bloating, regulates digestion.
Methods of use: in ointments, massage oils, in vaporisers/diffusers, in natural repellents,…
Special warnings: If oxidised, it can cause skin irritation. Use at a concentration below 0.7%. Do not use during pregnancy or with children under 2 years of age. Do not use on sensitive or damaged skin.
Allergens: geranial and neral (citral), geraniol, linalool, citronellol
Aromatherapy tip with recipe:
Blend against fungal infection
50 ml base (ointment, base oil, or aloe vera gel)
6 drops EO lemongrass
8 drops EO tea tree
5 drops EO palmarosa
4 drops EO German chamomile
Preparation: Add the essential oils to the base oil, aloe vera gel, or ointment. Close tightly (allow the ointment to cool first) and store in a dark and cool place.
Use: Apply to the affected area several times a day until the condition improves.
