CERAMIDE ComCera 5D-LP2 – Five-Ceramide Complex

Ceramide ComCera 5D-LP2 is a liposomal complex containing five ceramides: NP, AP, NS, AS and EOP. Enriched with cholesterol and hydrogenated lecithin, it is designed to resemble the composition of lipids naturally present in the skin’s protective layer.

Ceramides support the skin barrier, help reduce moisture loss and improve skin softness and smoothness. The complex is particularly suitable for dry, sensitive, mature and dehydrated skin, as well as skin with a weakened protective barrier.

The liposomal delivery system enables good dispersion in water, improves the distribution of ceramides throughout the formulation and helps protect them from degradation.

• suitable for sensitive, dry and mature skin,
• disperses well in water.

Recommended use level: 0.5–3%

Suitable for creams, serums, lotions, sensitive-skin products, intensive moisturising formulations and after-sun skincare products.

Incorporation: Add during the cooling phase at a temperature no higher than 45°C. Mix gently at low speed after addition. Do not use high-shear homogenisation, as this may damage the liposomes.

Recommended pH range: 5.0–8.5

Avoid high concentrations of alcohol, strong oxidising agents, strong ionic surfactants and extreme pH values.
