Belinal® - white fir branch knot extract

Belinal® is a Slovenian, patented natural active ingredient of organic origin derived from the branches of white fir, offering a wide range of benefits for your products. It is a scientifically researched extract rich in natural antioxidant polyphenols that are readily absorbed by the body and have a beneficial effect on it.

It is obtained from the knots of the finest white fir branches, hand-harvested in the ecologically pristine mountain forests of Slovenia, exclusively from regularly planned felling. In the modern extraction process, only pure water is used, without the use of alcohol or harmful solvents. It is also the recipient of the most prestigious organic certificate COSMOS, awarded by the natural compliance assessment agency Ecocert, as it contains ingredients of the highest quality, of precisely defined origin, and is obtained in harmony with nature and sustainable development.

With the help of Slovenian scientists, a unique active ingredient of global significance was discovered. In research supported by the Faculty of Pharmacy, it was found that the extract of white fir branches - Belinal® contains as much as 70% of diverse natural polyphenolic active ingredients with a lower molecular weight, which means they are absorbed more quickly by the organism, enter cells faster and more powerfully. In the Belinal® extract, 36 different polyphenols were discovered, with a predominance of phenolic acids, lignans, and flavonoids. The main flavonoids of Belinal® are catechin and epicatechin.

Polyphenols are plant substances with known biological, pharmacological, and clinical activity that contribute to human health. They act primarily as antioxidants and are distinguished mainly by their anti-age properties. They essentially prevent the spread of free radicals caused by external factors such as harmful sun exposure or pollution, which accelerate the development of visible signs of aging. SOLUBILITY: water-soluble cosmetically active ingredient. Solubility is 95%. Due to the method of production, very fine particles remain upon dissolving, which need to be removed by filtering.

Regenerative serum with Belinal®
Ingredients (for 50 ml):

Water phase:

35 ml distilled water
5 ml rose or lavender hydrolate (to soothe the skin)
1 g hyaluronic acid (low and/or high molecular weight)

Active ingredients:

2 g Belinal® (according to manufacturer's instructions)
2 ml panthenol (provitamin B5, for moisturizing)
0.5 g allantoin (to soothe the skin)

Oil phase:

3 ml squalane (natural lipid for skin regeneration)
2 ml jojoba oil (regulates sebum secretion)

Preservative:

5 drops of Cosgard or Geogard Ultra (according to concentration instructions)
Procedure:

Preparation of the water phase:

In a small container, mix the distilled water and hydrolate. Slowly add the hyaluronic acid and stir until completely dissolved.

Adding active ingredients:

Once the hyaluronic acid is dissolved, add Belinal®, panthenol, and allantoin. Mix well.

Adding the oil phase:

Add squalane and jojoba oil to the water mixture and stir until the phases combine (you can use a mini blender or emulsifier).

Adding the preservative:

Finally, add the preservative and check the pH of the serum (it should be between 5 and 5.5).

Filling:

Pour the serum into a sterile bottle with a dropper or pump.

Use:
Apply the serum to cleansed facial skin in the morning and evening. Follow with the application of a cream or oil if needed.
