This wax is packaged in pellets, which makes it easier to work with, measure, and handle. For the best finish with this wax, we recommend pouring at 71ºC (±5º). However, you may need to do additional testing to find the best pouring temperature for your conditions. Keragreen C-EU has good adhesion to containers, which can be improved, especially in winter months, by pre-heating the jars.
For this soy wax, we recommend pre-heating the jars before pouring the wax to achieve a better finish. Also allow the wax to cool slowly.
TIP: once the wax is completely melted, we recommend reducing the heat to allow it to cool to 50ºC-70°C. This will reduce cracking and discoloration.
Allow to stand for 2 weeks. A single pour is usually sufficient, however it does shrink slightly as it sets; good adhesion to the container walls can be achieved by pre-heating the containers before pouring and allowing the wax to set slowly.
