St. John's Wort macerate

INCI:Hypericum Perforatum Extract, Helianthus annuus

 

St. John's Wort oil is made by solar maceration of fresh flowers and leaves of St. John's Wort (Hypericum Perforatum (St. John's Wort) Flower Extract) in sunflower oil.

 

The oil is reddish in colour and is particularly suitable for:

 

• various skin inflammations and allergic reactions – it soothes and nourishes the skin, increases circulation, and relieves pain
• open wounds and cuts – it disinfects the wound and greatly accelerates its healing
• effectively relieves problems with haemorrhoids, goitre, eases rheumatism, ulcers,…
• local burns – when applied immediately, it quickly prevents pain and the formation of blisters
• extremely effective for sunburn
• skin ulcers, growths, lumps, bruises, and swollen glands (in the form of a compress)
• insect bites – quickly eliminates itching and skin reactions
• very beneficial for caring for rough skin
• herpes outbreaks on the lips and genitals subside shortly after applying the oil
• soothes the effects of stress when mixed with 25% base oil and used in a full-body massage
