Used for:

- wellbeing: against depression, irritability, to uplift mood;

- in cases of headaches, nausea, and flatulence;

- in diffusers to disinfect and freshen the air;

- skin care: oily, acne-prone, impure, and mature skin;

- in cases of fluid retention: lymph, cellulite, swelling, and obesity;

- to boost the immune system: preventively, at the onset of illness, or to support faster recovery.

Special warnings: The EO is phototoxic, so avoid sun exposure for at least 12 hours after use. If oxidised, it may irritate the skin. Citrus oils are prone to faster oxidation, so store them in a cool, dark place, tightly sealed.

Aromatherapy tip with recipe:

Blend to stimulate lymphatic flow

30 ml base oil or unscented lotion

5 drops EO grapefruit

3 drops EO geranium

5 drops EO juniper

3 drops EO bay laurel

Preparation: Drop the essential oils into a dark 30 ml bottle and rub between your palms (mix well). Add approx. 30 ml of base oil (e.g. almond, jojoba), seal tightly, label, and store in a cool, dark place. The essential oils can also be blended into a homemade lotion.

Use: Apply 1–2 times daily. Lymph node areas are especially important: armpits, groin, back of the knees, neck. Of course, it will also be beneficial to apply the lotion over the entire body.
