Metal moulds for shaping bath bombs - 6-piece set, 3 sizes
The set includes one mould with a diameter of 45mm, one with a diameter of 55mm, and one with a diameter of 65mm.
One mould consists of two hemispheres that you can assemble into a ball as desired.
A simple recipe for making fragrant bath bombs:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup citric acid
1 cup baking soda
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup cane sugar
6 drops of food colouring (optional)
10 to 15 drops of essential oil of your choice
bath bomb mould, pipette, storage container and spray bottle
optionally you can also add lavender flowers, rose petals, calendula flowers,...
Instructions:
Mix the citric acid, baking soda and cornstarch in a glass bowl
Sift the mixture through a fine strainer/sieve into a larger bowl. Add the sugar.
Fill the spray bottle with water and colouring. Then spray the mixture until it is moist (not wet!) so that you can press it together like a snowball;)
Add the essential oil drop by drop until you reach the desired scent. Then mix everything together well so that the colour is evenly distributed.
Press the mixture into the mould and wait for it to dry overnight. Then carefully remove from the mould (if the balls fall apart, it means you did not press them together firmly enough).
The set includes two moulds with a diameter of 45mm, two with a diameter of 55mm, and two with a diameter of 65mm.
The moulds are wrapped in a lilac gift pouch (see image)
