Arnica (Arnica montana) is primarily a mountain plant that has been used in traditional herbalism for centuries. In Slovenia it has nearly become extinct due to over-harvesting, and is therefore protected and its collection is not permitted. Our arnica oil comes from France.

Arnica macerate has anti-inflammatory and vulnerary action (promotes wound healing). It is used for sprains, bruises, abrasions, swellings, and skin and tissue injuries. It reduces the appearance of bruises, has a mild analgesic and antiseptic effect. Arnica oil is also used for muscle and joint pain, rheumatism, and arthritis.

WARNINGS:

• Arnica can cause hypersensitivity reactions in some individuals due to sesquiterpene lactones.

• Use for external use only and never on mucous membranes.

• Do not apply directly to open wounds or near the eyes.
