Lavender hydrosol

Description and benefits: Obtained by steam distillation of lavender flowers. Lavender has been used since antiquity for personal hygiene and for scenting spaces and clothing. Even its name derives from the Latin word lavare, meaning to bathe or wash. The hydrosol has anti-inflammatory, anti-infective, antiviral, bactericidal, sedative, and many other properties. Lavender water is an excellent tonic, especially for skin with blemishes, discolouration, and acne. As a bactericide it destroys bacteria on the skin (including acne-causing bacteria, of course), and as a toner it penetrates deep into pores without clogging them. It is suitable for all skin types and all ages; it is traditionally used at night, before sleep, applied to the face before a cream and left to work its magic while we sleep and regenerate.

The hydrosol is excellent as a spray for the skin of adults and children, including after scratches, superficial injuries, insect bites, or sunburn. It makes a great facial or body spray on hot days, and can also be used to freshen clothing or rooms. If a piece of fabric is moistened with it, you get an excellent cleansing wipe for the face, hands, or a baby's bottom.

In summer heat it cools, soothes sunburn, and calms shaving cuts.

Lavender water helps relieve headaches, stress, and mental exhaustion. To calm children, you can apply lavender water to them after bathing, or add some directly to their bath.

Uses for hydrosols: as an addition to baths, to make excellent masks with cosmetic clay (green, white, red, pink, yellow) by using them instead of water or tea, for moisturising the face before applying creams, as a tonic that revives, refreshes, and renews facial skin, they can be sprayed on instead of perfume, used instead of room fresheners, for scenting bed linen, for aromatherapy instead of or in combination with essential oils,…

Usage instructions: Shake before use. Face cleansing: Moisten a cotton pad with the hydrosol and cleanse the facial skin using circular motions; repeat if necessary. Toner/facial spray: Spray onto cleansed facial skin before applying moisturiser. Avoid contact with eyes. Repeat several times a day as needed for refreshment. Face mask: Mix with Argiletz clay and apply to cleansed face. Leave on for 10 – 15 minutes, rinse with water, moisturise the skin with the hydrosol and apply a moisturising cream or plant oil. Bath: Pour some hydrosol into a bath filled with water and enjoy its beneficial effects. Hair care: Spray onto freshly washed hair and massage

When ordering a hydrosol in a bottle with a spray pump, the pump is enclosed separately. If it were attached during transport, leakage could occur. This way we ensure that you receive the product without any losses and in perfect condition.
