INCI: Citrus Aurantium Flower Water, Dehydroacetic acid, Benzyl alcohol

Description and properties: Obtained by steam distillation of orange blossom flowers (Citrus Aurantium). It has a delicate, floral scent with an intensely relaxing effect on the body, reducing anxiety and calming tired or tense muscles. It has a stimulating effect on the skin, acts as an antioxidant, promotes circulation and gives the skin a youthful appearance and natural radiance. Orange blossom water is also known as Neroli floral water. The name is said to originate from the noblewoman Marie Anne de La Trémoille, who was a princess in Neroli, Italy. She used orange blossoms and their floral water as a perfume and to scent her bath water and the gloves that all ladies wore at the time.

Uses for hydrosols: as an addition to baths, to make excellent masks with Argiletz cosmetic clay (green, white, red, pink, yellow) where they are used instead of water or tea, for moisturising the face before applying creams, as a toner that revitalises, refreshes and renews facial skin, they can be misted on instead of perfume, used as room fresheners, for scenting bed linen, for aromatherapy instead of or in combination with essential oils,…

Usage instructions: Shake before use. Facial cleansing: Moisten a cotton pad with the hydrosol and cleanse the facial skin using circular motions, repeat if necessary. Toner/facial mist: Face mask: Mix with Argiletz clay and apply to cleansed face. Leave on for 10 – 15 minutes, rinse with water, moisturise the skin with hydrosol and apply a moisturising cream or vegetable oil. Bath: Pour some hydrosol into a bath filled with water and enjoy its beneficial effects. Hair care: Spray onto freshly washed hair and massage into the scalp. Rinsing is not necessary. Body fragrance/deodorant: Spray onto the skin from a distance of 15 cm, especially in areas where you perspire. Room fragrance: Spray into the air, onto bed linen or upholstered furniture,…

Spray onto cleansed facial skin before applying moisturiser. Avoid contact with eyes. Repeat several times a day as needed for refreshment.

Storage: Store hydrosols in a dark, cool place, ideally in the refrigerator, as this effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria that might develop over time. After opening, use the hydrosol within six months.
