Damascus rose hydrolate - BIO

Description and properties: Obtained by steam distillation of the petals of Damask roses. The hydrosol has an intoxicating, delicate scent of roses that soothes, restores energy, brings joy, and eases stress or depression. Spray it on your skin and you will have an excellent natural perfume or deodorant. It works very well as a tonic or facial mist for all skin types, and is especially suitable for dry or mature skin, damaged, wrinkled, or sun-affected skin. It is also recommended for colds, mouth ulcers, and stress, as it calms an overworked mind. It restores moisture, vitality, and radiance and helps prevent premature wrinkles. It softens facial lines and reduces redness. Mix it into your natural lotion or shower gel for extra moisture and a pleasant scent, or spray onto freshly washed hair for a natural shine.

In general, rose hydrosol is known to act as an antifungal, anti-infective, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericidal, circulatory calming, balancing, decongestant, and revitalizing agent.

Usage tips: Shake before use. Facial cleansing: Moisten a cotton pad with the hydrosol and cleanse the facial skin with circular movements, repeat if necessary. Tonic/facial mist: Spray onto cleansed facial skin before applying moisturiser. Take care to avoid the eyes. Repeat several times a day as needed for refreshment. Face mask: Mix with clay and apply to a cleansed face. Leave on for 10 – 15 minutes, rinse with water, moisten the skin with hydrosol, and apply moisturiser or a plant oil. Bath: Pour some hydrosol into a tub filled with water and enjoy its beneficial effects. Hair care: Spray onto freshly washed hair and massage into the scalp. No rinsing required.
