Latin name: Eucalyptus radiata
Note: There are several types of eucalyptus (globulus, radiata, citriodora, smithii, dives), so be careful which one you use, as the chemical structure and action differ greatly!

Used for:
•respiratory system infections and colds;
•prevention during illness season, when in contact with other people (workplaces, health centres, kindergartens, schools);
•viral infections: flu, herpes, chickenpox,…
•tight muscles, pain and headaches.
Methods of use: in ointments, massage oils, for inhalations, in diffusers/vaporizers, in creams and lotions, natural cleaning products,…
Special warnings: Due to the high proportion of 1,8 cineole, it may cause problems with the central nervous system and breathing in young children. Do not apply near the face of infants or children under 10 years of age. If oxidised, it may cause skin irritation. Use with caution in cases of asthma.

Aromatherapy tip with recipe:
Anti-cold inhaler
5 drops eucalyptus radiata essential oil
4 drops tea tree essential oil
2 drops peppermint essential oil
2 drops cedarwood essential oil
1 nasal inhaler
Instructions: drop the essential oils onto the cotton wick and insert it into the inhaler. Close tightly.
Use: Inhale as needed, several times a day.
