Dermofeel Sensolv MB (natural lipophilic emollient)

Sensolv is a liquid lipophilic emollient that feels very light on the skin without any sticky feeling. It is 100%
of plant origin. It is used in SPF formulations as it dissolves crystalline lipophilic UV
filters very well. It also performs excellently in the production of makeup, as it has very good wetting properties for hydrophobic
pigments. It is ideal in hair care products, as it does not make hair greasy or weigh it down. It also aids in
detangling hair and has an antistatic effect, leaving hair more nourished and silky. If added to
shampoo, it causes the foam to be thicker and more creamy.

Formulation tips:
In aqueous systems, minimal hydrolysis of the ester to isoamyl alcohol may occur. This does not affect the
stability of the formulation, but this alcohol has a specific odor. The odor can easily be masked
by using essential oils or natural fragrances. Lower pH and elevated temperature cause faster
hydrolysis. Therefore, a neutral pH of the formulation is recommended, i.e., 6.5-7.0.
In products with surfactants, Sensolv can be added at 0.5-1.0% and our formulation will still be clear.

Usage
Face care: used in natural cosmetics, especially on hotter days; creams with sun protection
factor, creams with a very light skin feel, men's creams.
Body care: natural body creams and lotions, body oils
Makeup: natural powders
Hair care: natural shower gels, shampoos, and hair conditioners
