We use it:

- for muscle and joint pain and arthritis;

- for urinary tract inflammation, for disinfection and toning (stimulates urine secretion and detoxifies);

- for fluid retention in tissues: oedemas, lymphatic congestion, against cellulite, bloating,…

- for skin care (tightens pores and capillaries and acts as an anti-inflammatory): oily skin and acne, dermatitis, psoriasis,…

- for local circulation, pain-relieving effect and warming;

- for making natural home cleaning products.

Special warnings: If it oxidises, it can irritate the skin, so store it in a cool and dark place, tightly sealed. When applying to the skin (e.g. in massage oils, etc.), use a low concentration.

Aromatherapy tip with recipe:

Blend to stimulate lymphatic flow

50 ml cold-pressed oil (e.g. almond, hazelnut, olive,…)

7 drops EO juniper

6 drops EO grapefruit

6 drops EO geranium

3 drops EO laurel

Preparation: Drop the essential oils into a dark 50 ml bottle and rub between your hands (mix well). Add approx. 30 ml of vegetable oil, seal tightly, label, and store in a cool and dark place.

Use: The most effective application is massaging onto the areas of lymph nodes, e.g. under the armpits, the back of the knees, the groin area, etc. Perform the massage at least once daily. Additional heat also helps to stimulate detoxification.
