Acai virgin oil

Acai is a palm tree up to 25 m tall with clustered inflorescences that develop into round
blue fruits. The fruits are usually found in clusters of up to 1,000. Acai is a tree that grows in
the Amazon tropical rainforests.

Approximately half is made up of the monounsaturated oleic acid, followed by approximately a quarter of
saturated palmitic acid. In addition, it contains linoleic, palmitoleic, vaccenic, and stearic
acids. Among the unsaponifiable components, there is a large proportion of phenols, a notable content of phytosterols, and a smaller proportion
of tocopherols.

Stability and heating: Based on its composition, acai oil falls among stable oils with a medium-length
shelf life. Nevertheless, we recommend storing it in a cool, dark place. It can be used in products
at higher concentrations and can be heated.

Oil properties: Acai oil is used primarily for mature skin, as it has strong antioxidant activity.
Due to its composition, it is most suitable for dry skin and anti-aging care. It has excellent emollient
properties.
