MARINA – Lightweight Mattifying Cream with Marine-Z and Abyssinian Oil

For oily, blemish-prone or irritated skin
Suitable for everyday use, with a mattifying and soothing effect without leaving the skin feeling greasy.
Abyssinian oil is a lightweight, non-greasy plant oil rich in omega fatty acids. It is ideal for skin and hair care, providing softness, shine and protection without a heavy feel. Marine-Z is an active ingredient based on marine algae extract, particularly suitable for the care of oily and problem-prone skin.
Ingredients in %
(100% = 100 g)
Phase A – Water phase (heated)
- 60% tea tree or lavender hydrosol
- 3% glycerin
- 0.3% transparent xanthan gum
Phase B – Oil phase (heated)
- 10% Abyssinian oil
- 5% jojoba oil or squalane
- 6% Montanov 68 emulsifier
Phase C – Cool-down phase (below 40 °C)
- 4% Marine-Z
- 0.5% vitamin E (tocopherol)
- 0.5% tea tree or immortelle essential oil
- 0.5% Cosgard
- distilled water to 100%
Method
- Heat Phase A to approximately 70 °C and mix well.
- Heat Phase B to the same temperature.
- Slowly add Phase B to Phase A and emulsify using a stick blender or homogenizer.
- Continue mixing until the emulsion cools below 40 °C, then add Phase C and mix thoroughly.
- Transfer into clean jars or airless packaging.
