Tegomuls HT

Tegomuls HT is made from hydrogenated palm oil and is used in cosmetics as a thickener and emulsifier, as it binds most liquids. In more acidic formulas (with additives such as citric acid, lemon essential oil, lime, etc.) tegomuls loses its ability to bind the oil and water phases. 

The melting point of Tegomuls HT is 50 degrees Celsius.

Ingredients (for 100 g):
Oil phase:

5 g Tegomuls HT
10 g almond oil
5 g coconut oil
Water phase:

70 g distilled water
5 g glycerin
Cool-down phase:

3 g vitamin E
2 g preservative of choice
5 drops lavender essential oil

Procedure:
In one container, heat the oil phase (Tegomuls HT, almond oil and coconut oil) to approximately 70 °C.
In another container, heat the water phase (distilled water and glycerin) to the same temperature.
Gradually add the water phase to the oil phase while stirring, until a homogeneous cream forms.
Once the cream cools to approximately 40 °C, add the cool-down phase (vitamin E, preservative, essential oil).
Pour into a sterilised cream jar.

Usage:
Apply to clean facial skin morning and evening for intensive hydration and care.
